INNER VIEW KEYNOTES & LIVE EXPERIENCES

A Room Goes Still.  A Person Is Witnessed. Everyone Feels Seen.

A live keynote experience for organizations and gatherings ready to give their people something they have never experienced from a stage: not information to absorb, but a moment of shared human recognition they will carry for years.

Your audience has sat through numerous keynotes. They remember almost none of them.

You are planning a gathering that matters. You want your people to leave changed, not just informed. But you know the pattern: a polished speaker delivers a practiced talk, the room nods along, and within a week the slides are forgotten and nothing has actually shifted.

You may be feeling:

  • The pressure to deliver a marquee moment that justifies the cost and effort of bringing everyone together

  • Fatigue with the standard keynote format — expert on stage, audience passive, takeaways that evaporate

  • A desire to create genuine connection in the room, not just another performance to watch

  • The sense that what your people most need is not more content, but a different kind of experience entirely

The real challenge is not finding a good speaker. It is creating a moment your audience actually feels — together, in real time.

Through a miraculous process with the camera and live-projection Nic enables a group to rediscover its common humanity.

Imagine a room growing completely still — because something real is happening.

Picture your audience watching one of Nic’s films - that quiet the room and open something in them. Then picture people taking a seat, one at a time, in front of a camera on stage — and, with no script and no performance, being witnessed in a way most people are never witnessed in their entire lives.

As each person is seen, something extraordinary happens in the room: everyone watching begins to feel seen themselves. The boundary between the people on stage and the people in the seats dissolves. For a few minutes, the whole room shares a single moment of recognition.

This is not a talk about connection. It is connection — experienced live, by everyone present, at the same time.

The Inner View Keynote

A live experience — for small or large gatherings — in which filmmaker Nic Askew brings his transformative Inner View method to your stage, conducting real, unscripted Inner Views of willing participants in front of your audience.

The experience typically opens with a short film— sometimes a single resonant film, sometimes a few very short ones — chosen to help the room feel something through what they see and hear. Then, with the audience as witness, Nic invites people to be seen, sitting with one volunteer at a time as the cinematic encounter unfolds live — the same uncompromising process that has moved viewers around the world, now happening in the room with your people.

Live Experiences are for: Organizations, conferences, associations, and leadership gatherings that want to give their audience a profound shared experience — not just a presentation.

Who is witnessed: Flexible and designed with you. Usually several willing volunteers are witnessed, one at a time. Depending on the engagement, they may be leaders from your organization, participants who step forward in the moment, or people arranged with Nic in advance.

The primary outcome: A moment of genuine, shared human recognition that a whole room experiences together — and remembers long after the event ends.

Connection cannot be delivered as content. It has to be experienced.

This work exists because the moments that actually change people are not transmitted through information...

They are felt.

And almost nothing in the standard event format is designed to let a large group feel something real together.

The reason this matters now is that people are starving for genuine human encounter — inside organizations, at conferences, in rooms full of people who barely know one another. An Inner View Keynote meets that hunger directly, giving an audience a lived experience of being seen rather than another description of why it matters.

When the work is over, that shared experience becomes a foundation the organization can build on — which is where the follow-up integration work begins.

"It's been key in recognizing my true purpose, and in manifesting and communicating it to others in ways I'd never imagined possible."

— Participant, Inner View Experiences

The Arc of the Experience

An Inner View Keynote moves an audience through four movements:

The Opening

Each Immersion opens with an orientation to the theme — not as content to absorb, but as a living question to meet. You arrive already in motion.

The Witnessing

People are invited to be seen. One at a time, willing volunteers take a seat in front of the camera, and with no script and no performance, Nic conducts a live Inner View — while the room watches someone be truly seen.

The Recognition

As the person on stage is witnessed, the audience begins to feel witnessed themselves. A shared field of recognition forms across the entire room.

The Integration

After the event, Lori Zukin works with your organization to help people make sense of what they felt and translate a powerful shared moment into lasting connection, language, and change.

What your organization walks away with:

A genuinely unforgettable centerpiece for your event — the moment people talk about long afterward.

A shared experience of being seen that builds trust and connection across your audience in a way no talk can.

A felt, embodied understanding of what genuine human presence and recognition actually are — not as a concept, but as something the room lived together.

Follow-up integration that turns the experience into momentum — helping the organization carry the moment into its culture and work.

A community of people who have been through something real together — and who share a genuine commitment to the questions that brought you there.

"Is this experience the right fit?"

This is for your event if:

  • You are drawn to one of the Immersion themes and ready to encounter it at a depth most conversations never reach.

  • You value real encounter over polished performance — in yourself and in others.

  • You are ready to be witnessed: not to look good, but to be known.

  • You want to walk away with something that changes how you understand yourself in relation to the question that brought you there.

  • You are seeking a community of thoughtful people who take these questions as seriously as you do.

  • You are drawn to non-traditional modes of inquiry — stillness, film, the body, direct encounter.

This may not be the right fit if:

  • You are looking for a traditional, content-and-takeaways keynote.

  • You need a tightly scripted, fully predictable stage segment.

  • Your goal is primarily to transmit information or drive a specific tactical message.

  • Your audience or setting does not allow for a moment of genuine stillness and vulnerability.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

A complete keynote experience, designed with you:

  • A pre-event planning conversation to understand your audience, your goals, and the moment you want to create — and to design the right approach to who is witnessed on stage.

  • An opening of Nic Askew’s Inner View films — sometimes a single resonant film, sometimes a few very short ones — chosen to prepare the room emotionally and help your audience feel the work before they witness it live.

  • The live Inner Views on stage: real, unscripted cinematic encounters with willing volunteers, one at a time, conducted by Nic and witnessed by your audience — the centerpiece of the experience.

  • Nic's framing throughout — the context and presence that hold the room and make the experience safe, resonant, and meaningful for everyone present.

  • Follow-up integration work with Lori Zukin: structured sessions with your organization after the keynote to help your people make meaning of what they experienced and carry it into their culture and work.

  • Film of the live Inner View, where appropriate and agreed in advance, for the organization and the person witnessed.

INVESTMENT

Designed around
your event.

Because each Inner View Keynote is shaped around your audience, your goals, and the scope of follow-up integration, investment is discussed after an initial planning conversation. This ensures the experience — from the films, to the live witnessing, to the work that follows — is built for what you actually want to create.

BRING THE LIVE EXPERIENCE
TO YOUR STAGE

An Inner View Keynote is designed in partnership with you, and Nic's calendar is limited. The earlier the conversation begins, the more fully the experience can be shaped around your gathering.
